mVisum, one of Rutgers Camden Business Incubator's newest tenants, has developed a communication tool that allows medical professionals to securely receive, review and respond to patient data recorded at the point of care.
Information is transmitted via secure HIPAA compliant internet servers then transmitted through mobile technology to the required physicians’ handheld smartphone.
Sent data can include EKG's, DICOM Images, Cine Loops, X-Rays, CT Scans and MRI's. Other information such as vital signs and text can also be included to provide a complete picture of patient condition.

FREEDOM2 merging with EFoodSafety.com

EFoodSafety.com Inc. said Wednesday it has entered into a share exchange agreement that will combine it with removable tattoo ink company Freedom2 Holdings Inc. and give Freedom2 shareholders a 20 percent stake in the combined company.
EFoodSafety.com (OTCBB:EFSF) is a Scottsdale, Ariz.- based developer of health supplements. Freedom2 is developing Infinitink, an ink that makes tattoos that can be more easily removed than tattoos made with standard ink.
Martin Schmieg, the president and CEO of Freedom2, will become the chairman and CEO of the combined company, which will be called eFoodSafety.com and be run out of Freedom2's headquarters and manufacturing facility in Cherry Hill, N.J.

(EBS) announced a contract with Benefit Insurance Group (BIG), one of the Mid-Atlantic's premier insurance brokerage firms providing "Big Benefits - Small Costs" services, to offer licensee rights to its benefits administration software services.
As part of the agreement, EBS will provide its on-demand benefit administration software that will be used by BIG to begin administering its client's health and welfare plans enabling the integration of HR functions and communications during the 2009 Plan Year. BIG announced Phoenix Services, LLC, as the initial client to partner with both groups during the first quarter, 2009.
